I’m Adryon, a space anthropologist and PhD candidate at UCL.
I am currently conducting my doctoral research into the visual and digital cultures of space enthusiasts.
My research is part of ETHNO-ISS, an international and multi-sited project exploring anthropological perspectives of the International Space Station. We are based at UCL in London.
I was born in the Bay Area in California and grew up in Vienna, Austria. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews in Scotland in Sustainable Development and proceeded to specialise in Social and Cultural Anthropology after that.
When not living the research student life, I love activities like backpacking, wild swimming, circus arts, rock climbing, and scuba diving, as well as exploring digital and social things like VR and video games.
